Rebooted but not getting full screen

Just rebooted My NR-32M with a new hard drive on vista 32 bit but I'm not getting a full screen I've tried altering resolution but the best I can get leaves approx 35mm black borders across both sides of screen & approx 10mm across top & bottom.Can anyone help?

Assuming that you have installed a retail copy of Vista have you downloaded and installed the graphics driver from Sony support site?
