I usually use an external webcam (part of my external monitor), but as this is not presently available, I need to use the inbuilt webcam.
It has worked in the past. Indeed, I recall at one time having been presented with a list of alternative webcams to use - with the inbuilt one being one of them (when I did briefly try it).
But now I need to use the inbuilt one, I cannot find any option that enables it.
Device Manager shows the inbuilt webcam in working OK.
But Skype can't call it up
Update: 4 May 2011: I still have the problem - getting on for 3 months now.
I'm wondering how long Sony thinks I should wait for their malfunctioning equipment to continue malfunctioning before they accept responsibillity?
[Oh, priceless: when I attempt to post this, I get the error message that the Sony site is down ....]
