Hello @NOOR2018, welcome to the forum! Your query has been translated to English since this is a international forum.
Sorry to hear about your phone not starting like it should. Have you tried to start it without SIM-card and SD-card? A damaged SIM or SD-card can make the phone behave like you describe.
Do I understand you correctly that you only updated the software using Xperia Companion, and not performed a Software Repair? A #softrep is comparable to a deeper version of a Factory Reset and may help you. Do note that when you perform a software repair, all data stored on the internal storage will be deleted and the software will be reinstalled. Since the device can't be unlocked, you will not be able to create a backup.
Let me know how it went and have a nice day!
Hello,
I have the same problem with my SONY XPERIA M4 AQUA.
My phone was sending constantly this message when I tried to open any application: "services google play" application has unfortunately stopped.
I was advised to use PC companion and repair my phone and now my phone stays on SONY page when I try to restart it.
Do you have any advices?
I spoke with SONY assistance and they said that because they are not selling this phone anymore they cannot help me..
Thank you in advance.
Hello @Myriamaachen, I'm so sorry to hear that!
Your Xperia M4 Aqua should still be compatible with Xperia Companion, so you should be able to do a software repair using Xperia Companion. Xperia Companion is our newer version of PC companion, and I recommend you give it a try. A Software repair will remove all software in your phone and reinstall the latest available version.
Please keep me posted, and have a nice day!
