Hello,
I've been looking into upgrading the sound quality of my old but still good BDV-IZ100W sound system. Is there a sound bar e.g. https://www.sony.ch/de/electronics/sound-bars/ht-x8500 produced by Sony or any other that can be used to replace the BDV-IZ100W front sound bar? This is IMO the weakest speaker in the system, I can barely hear it. The connectivity may be an issue since it connects to the theater system using those two direct cables and other bar systems either connect via HDMI or Digital in:

btw What would be the best Home Theater produced by Sony at the moment?
Many TIA,
Best regards,
Giovanni
Hi Giovanni,
I don't think that it's an issue of the center speaker. Have you checked the speaker settings? Maybe the center level is too low. If the center volume is set correctly it might be related to the content you're playing.
Try to boost the center volume by selecting a different sound mode.
The best Home Theater system from Sony currently is in my opinion the BDV-N9200WL.
Cheers
Peter
Thank you Peter. I'll consider upgrading then.
