Android tv KDL-50W800C harmony hub support

I would like to know does logitech harmony hub will supports to sony android tv KDL-50W800C. I know that harmony hub will support amazon echo dot alexa. but ,i am confused will that work in combined with sony KDL-50W800C?

Your TV model is compatible with the Harmony Hub. https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility

The Harmony Hub does not connect to your TV, all it does is act as a infrared remote control. You connect the Harmony Hub to Alexa using the two Harmony Skills. The Alexa main Harmony Skill uses the Harmony Activities and Favourites, an example Alexa, turn on TV or Alexa, turn on BBC1. The Harmony - Secondary Hub Skill uses some common commands like Alexa, ask Harmony to increase volume.

I have been using a Harmony Hub and Alexa with my Sony TV for ages and can confirm it works really well. Do not use the Alexa app on the TV.
