I have a x6300 camera purchased in 2017, Recently when connecting to my laptop with a USB cable a continual pinging noise commences and the files cannot be transferred. Prior to this I have had issues with the laptop recognising the SD card when connected.Any help would be appreciated.The files are all video MP4.
Constant pinging is a sign the connection is not constant, usually one or both of the usb ports either have debris in them, or have got a fault. It can also be a dodgy cable.
Yea I agree, if it keeps pinging real quick it usually is the USB cable, so I also recommend testing different cables and ports, and if it's still the same then yea it's best to use a card reader.
