Walkman a55 senseme under Linux

hello everyone. i just got a new Walkman a55 to replace my quite old other one. the old one analysed music by itself for senseme functionality. i was a bit shocked to learn that the new one seems to have this ability removed!?! instead i now need (?) to install "music center". is there a Linux version for that? running the windows version under wine doesn't not work. this is highly disappointing. does anyone have any idea what i could do here?

Unfortunately I don't see any other option. You will need to do it on an Windows PC.

thanks. that is very unfortunate. I'm not sure what to do now. I'll probably try bringing it back and won't buy Sony again.

i can't understand why Sony decided to dumb down its newer devices while the old ones were able to do that. it is beyond me.
