UK Catch up services not loading on Android TV (A80J)

I've seen a couple of topics on this subject. They are marked as solved, but I don't think the issue is solved. 

 

I can't load any of the UK catch up services on the A80J. When selecting one of the catch up apps, nothing happens. This happened totally out of the blue. One night it was working, the next nothing would load. The TV didn't update itself either and there are no system updates available.

 

I saw one thread advised that updates should be uninstalled for the Live TV app. To my surprise, this solution worked, but only for 24 hours, then the issue reoccured. 

 

I've tried to contact Sony about this issue, but am not getting a response. Has anyone successfully spoken to Sony about the issue?
