I have a Sony Bravia KD-43XD8099 and today a message popped up about a new firmware update. So I clicked yes for it to download and update, being warned it could take up to 15 minutes. 

4 hours later and it's still just sitting on the Sony logo, nothing happening at all. 

So I read about doing a factory reset, attempted this and the green led light came on, but then that also just sat on along with the Sony logo. It's now been another 4 hours and no change.

Is there anything I can do to save this, or has the latest firmware broken my TV?
