VGN-FZ21M SD Card write speed

Does anyone know what write speed I should get on my Vaio? It is appearing to be very slow for my new 32GB SDHC cat 4 cards.

Hello MarqUK,

A class 4 SDHC card is supposed to sustain a write rate of 4MB/s. That is very slow compared to the read/write speed of many other storage devices.

Unfortunately I don't have the specs for the chip that drives the card slots in your FZ21M (a TI PCI8402ZHK), but it's unlikely that this would help you further.
