Vaio Update trouble

Hiya I've got a customised vaio which i've had for a week now, i'm having problems with the VAIO update. it will search for updates but then send me to the VAIO support site saying it can't recognise my VAIO try again later but it constantly happens. Sony have been helpful saying to download VAIO update again but this hasn't resolved the issue.

Help me please
