I'm experiancing problems using the media plus service to view videos from my laptop, through my blu-ray player on my TV.
My player is recognising my laptop, theres a tab stating Vaio FW, but theres no content.
I've gone through the settings in the Vaio Analysis manager, The folders with the content i want to share are checked, but when i click on "Start Analysis" nothing happens, from my internet searches trying to solve this problem, i believe a little green blob should appear in my toolbar whilst its analysing the content so it can be played on my play, this doesnt happen,
I've noticed that alot of the options on my manager are grayed out,
-"Analyze videos imported to this computer." ticked, but greyed out
-performance settings. "Balanced" selected, but entire section greyed out
-analysis timing settinng and information. "analyze automaticaly" checked, but greyed out
I cant find a program called "vaio content analyzer" could it be that im simply missing software, or is it a background process with no runnable program.
Please help.
Update - So the options being greyed out where just because you need to click "change settings" my bad.
I opened 'Vaio movie story', and it started to analyze, i thought all my problems were solved. But it just went through all the sample media and didnt seem to pick up my videos. At least i know i can at least analyze.
I tried to access these samples on my blu-ray player, but theres nothing there. am i missing something obvious? its frustrating because on my previous laptop i didnt know that i had this option and i stumbled across all my videos just sat there waiting to be watched, i didnt have to do anything.
