Hi I have been stumped for the past two day strying to sort this problem myself so eventually have resorted to seeing if any of you guys can help me.
I recently bought my Sony Vaio laptop 2nd hand. Ony my old laptop I was able to play Xbox Live using my 3g Dongle by plugging an ethernet cable into the back of laptop but with my Sony it won't work.
It keeps saying Local Area Network cable is unplugged when it isn't. I have updated Driver software and enabled just about everything that I can think of. It is on my device manager (Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet controller).
My intenet is set to a shared network aswell... Can anybody help? Sorry if I have been a little vague I aren't a computer whiz by any means, but if you have any questions I will try and answer them best I can.
