My Sony Vaio VPCF13M0E laptops fan is very noisy all the time and when using website that require flash, the fan runs very high and fast and is very noisy.
I have tried to clean the dust that maybe in the laptop but still not joy. I have put new thermal paste on the cpu and gpu but the fan is still running high and loud.
Anyone got any ideas how to resolve the issue?
Thanks in advance.
Hi pauhunt.
This is not an uncommon problem with many Vaios - and a particularly common problem with the F-Series. I am not aware of a 100% solution.
I presume you have read this lengthy thread compiled over a number of years: -
https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/pcs-accessories/vaio-laptop-fan-noise/td-p/185335
If you have opened the Vaio and cleaned the fans and vents, and also replaced the thermal paste on the CPU, then I am not sure what to suggest.
Perhaps the next step would be to replace the fans and/or thermostats as one or all may be defective.
Are you still using the original Sony OS, Power Management and other utilities?
