Why is Sony Phone Support closed at this time(11.30am Monday 9th Jan)?

Sony have confirmed there is a problem with the phone support this morning.

You could try phoning Sony Uk HO but you will probably be better waiting until you can speak to the dedicated team.  If the question is urgent, post it here on the forums and another user may be able to help or, if necessary, we may be able to forward to Sony.

I will keep you posted if there is further news.

have to agree, my recent dealings with them has been noth short of redicoulous.  Basically unintreasted and unwilling to lookin into or resolve the problem.

ill certainly never buy another sony product

I have been reading many comments in the blogs and online which have been far from complimentary about the poor performance of  Sony Support and the shoddy service that has been provided by them. Does the fact that a multinational company's telephone support line go down on a business day not speak volumes about Sony's attitude to their after sales care and the poor service that this company provides to their customers?
