No Firewire Port !!!

I have recently bought a new VAIO and now find that Sony have ceased including a Firewire Port (Apparently was not popular). How can I import my mini dv's from my DCR - HC51 camcorder ???

Hi Gargy1,

You have not stated your Vaio model but assuming that you have an Express Card slot then a Firewire Express Card would be one solution.

Thankyou Rich912. My computer is a VPCEC4SOE and it does appear to have an express card slot.
