help

just got a new sony lap top it wont proceed with set up and installation due to an error box have restarted several times, unplugged and f8 it but box is still there any ideas please

What does the Error Box say?

What model Vaio do you have?

As your Vaio is new, the best course of action may be to reset the Vaio to factory settings by reinstalling all the software.  Tell us what the error says and your model and we can link you to instructions to recover your Vaio and start again.
