My VPCEB1S0E keeps freezing during vidoe files, have to force quit. Please help!

Have you installed all the software updates for your model - both from Microsoft and from Vaio Update?

If you have installed all of these, then check if your Vaio is overheating.  Make sure you are using it on a hard surface so the air vents are not obstructed and download a program that will tell you the temperature of your CPU and your Graphics chip.

Try something like PC Wizard 2010 which is a free download: -

If you let us know the temperatures when playing a DVD we can see if overheating is your problem.
