welcome to the Club VAIO Questions & Answers Forum.. :slight_smile:

Your Vaio model probably has a Battery Care Function this usually stops charging at approximately 80%..

The battery care function's aim is to try and prolong the life of the battery..

You can, if you wish, change the settings of the Battery Care Function by going to Start, then clicking on VAIO Control Centre, followed by System Information, then VAIO Status Monitor, then Power/Performance Settings finally Battery Care Function.. :thinking:
