Disable Touchpad

I had to reinstall a complete Windows 7 OS and lost the control centre and cannot disable the touchpad. Can anyone advise me how to download the control centre or how to disable the touchpad.

You need to download and reinstall the preinstalled driver/utility software for your model from the Support Page.  You don't say which model you have so I can't give you a link.

Go to the 'Support' tab at the top of this page -> Online Support -> Vaio & Computing and enter your Vaio Model.  Click on Updates -> Preinstalled Drivers & Utilities and you should find Vaio Control Centre and dependent utility programs.

Thank you for your advice. I have downloaded the Control Centre but it only gives me informtion. There are not controls for disambling the touchpad. Have I downloaded the wrong centre? I am using Windows 7 and my laptop is VGN-RW11E.

With the Windows re-install I have lost the function to restore my labtop by pressing function key F9 when putting.
