built-in microphone

Hi,
when using the external mic input for recording, my vaio also seems to be picking up audio through a built-in mic. Anyone know how to disable it?

Click on the speaker icon in your system tray
Go to the menu and select recording properties
Make sure Mic is checked and press OK
Then mute the mic

That mutes the external mini-jack mic input on the back of the vaio, not the built-in mic.
