Internet browser error

HI, internet browser on my bravia KDL 40CX523 leads to sony website only and doesn't allow to search. Any ideas why? Thanks

if the the Sony website displays properly, it means that Internet is working fine on your TV. at that point you can go some other website for search engine (like google.com) and you can do that by pressing OPTION button on your remote control, scroll down and select "Enter URL"

if the Sony website is not displaying properly, you should check ur Internet connection.
