The Channel Islands will switch from the current analogue transmission to a Digital Freeview and Freeview HD transmission tomorrow, Wednesday 17th November 2010.
The implication of this is that any purely analogue television (or similar device) will no longer be able to receive the local television broadcast. The easiest way to get round this is to purchase a Freeview set-top box or Freeview television.
Any current Freeview products should work fine; however, recent experience with other regions has generated the odd issue with certain models. More details on this can be found in the Digital Switchover article on our Knowledge Base.
