Where is the backup software for the arc?

Hello, if you mean the Sony Ericsson backup and restore app this does not come with the new Xperia phones. I am sure there will be an alternative app on the market though.

you don't quite need the backup your apps, on your computer go to

market.android.com  log in then click on "My Library" and you can send it to your phone

how bout messages and contacts? how can i backup them? i don't know which apps from the market is the best for this. any recommendation people? cheers=)

for contacts just sync them to google

open your phonebook

press MENU button

-> tap on Send Contacts

-> select all

-> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file

-> go to your gmail

-> click on contacts

-> click on more actions

-> on the drop down menu click on "import"

-> choose the file

-> and click import
