Problem with TrackID false "update advice"

I've found this related issue on aother Xperia forum

I began to have problems today, same problem as described on that post.

A popup says that there's an update, but when I go to the Play Store, there's none.

I tried also uninstalling and installing the app again.

I now have 3.60.57 version, but is unusable.

I can't recognize any song, if I ignore the update, I get an error, and as I said before, there isn't really an update, so I can't update either.

The problem seems to be fixed as of this post (likely earlier).  Thanks Johan for getting it in there.

Today I got the same message. I had TrackID preinstalled. Installed the new version. Did not succeed. Uninstalled my first one and tried again. Now I am also stuck witha an unusable version of TrackID. I have tried to follow the information in the prevoius link but I fail. Could I in some way reinstall the old version or whatever to make it work again?

Same issue: I had problems with the 'new skin' version of TrackID when it first came out so continued to use the preinstalled version.  It worked so much better than the new one up until this week when it said I had to upgrade to use the service.  So diligently, I upgraded.

Big surprise, the 'new skin' version is still botched.

"An update is available. To continue, you must update the application. Update now?"

Yet there is, mysteriously, no update.

Considering how useful and functional the original skinned version of this app was, I am terribly dissapointed by the continuing failures of the 'upgrade' version.

A functional app with less graphical UI is worth a hundred times more than a broken 'pretty' version in terms of satisfied customers.  Sure, the app is free and that in itself is greatly appreciated, but this is one of those cases where a few sayings come to mind:

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

and

"Less is more"

So here's the real question: When are we going to get this fixed?

Same problem here. Since this message turns upp all the time the application does not work at all so it is no good answer telling us to not care about the message.

I've faced the same problem. The default TrackID v3.41.17 on Xperia Pro (firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58) doesn't work anymore, it always says "Outdated software version. For further instructions please contact Sony Ericsson." After that I decided to update it. So I installed the latest TrackID v3.60.57 from market, but unfortunately this version also doesn't work Slightly_frowning_Face Everytime it prompts to me "An update is available. To continue, you must update the application. Update now? Y/N". WTF? It must have been a bug because there are no updates, Google Play suggests only "Open" and "Uninstall" the TrackID. Please provide solution for this issue, it's really cool service. Shazam sucks... Thanks in advance.
