My phone cannot turn on after update from companion

Today, I received an alert from companion when i connected my phone to PC (windows 7), it said there is a new version ready to update. So i follow the instruction to update.

After the first step finished, the second step ask me to unplug the USB cable and turn off the phone. but at that time, my phone was already turned off. and when i tried to turn on, it was no response. I tried to connect with phone charge and PC, not work at all.

Can someone tell me how to turn my phone on?

connect it to the wall charger then press and hold the power button and volume up for 5 seconds and let it charge
