File transfer between pc and xperia P is too slow

Well whenever we connect xperia P to PC, it says "internal storage has been connected to pc" right. Well i bought thi new ICS updated xperia P last week, and i had to transfer my old pics,videos and songs to my new xperia P and it almost took forever. And right now i have downloaded Asphalt 7 : Heat HD (1.35gb) and i'm copying the files into my xperia P and its too slow. File transfers are too slow on xperia P ? why? is it due to its internal storage? Is there any way to transfer files to my phone in a quicker way? to speed up this transfer? any software?? Help!!!

maybe if you repair your phone it would make it faster. i dont know but it is worth the try.

or check the USB debugging on developer's option.

yes i tried USB debugging and now copying files is much fast thanx

the files should be transferred super fast,because of the ssd memory card.

I know an awesome trick Use WinRar And zip ur selected files or folders paste on ur phones memory and unzip with Es file explorer app or astro app on ur phone its 4x faster especially for big files

actually the file i downloaded was a zip file , which was 1GB file. Anyways i wanna let you guys know, so far when i allow USB DEBUGGING, its much faster. Just like normal copy n paste

the phone transfers very quickly single files,no matter of the size.if you have many files,they go slower.
