Does the aluminium work as a heatsink?

does aluminium frame on xperia active work like heatsink to cool down cpu heat? or ?

no dude, the metal around XA is just a frame for the screen. and for the wrist strap to hold, but maybe you have felt that it heats up because it absorbs the heat the phone is making, but not necessarily acting as a heat sink.,you know metal--heat conduction stuff.

and I do think because of the double back cover design of the device, it actually traps the heat inside, I observed this when playing in the rain with my XA, and snapping pictures, the camera lens gets foggy .
