contact n call log empty

my contact n my call log suddenly empty,

i try restore my contact  from my backup using pc companion but my contact still empty

how i can get back my contact?

model : LT22i

Build number : 6.1.1.B.1.54

You will likely find you have a filter on the contacts. Please try this:

Main Menu > Contacts/Phonebook > Menu Key > Filter > Untick everything in the filter section and tick everything in the contacts to display section.

Hi there,

I have absolutely the same problem but with Experia V (LT25i) 4.1.2. My contacts and call log becomes empty. I have to restart the phone to see my contacts and call log. It is nothing  to do with the filters. I will upload a screenshot next time it happens. It annoys me quite a lot.

Anyone else experience the same problem?

Same thing happened with me on my Xperia P. I received a message saying an application has stopped unexpectedly. I don't remember the name of that application. Then I restarted my phone and all contacts were washed out. Nothing was there, though I didn't modify the contact filters.

I don't receive any error messages, contacts and calls log simply dissapear. Maybe there is a conflict with some other apps, but as I said, when I restart my phone everything is back to normal.

But, there was not so good luck in my case. My contacts are gone forever.

did you synced with google? on your computer access your gmail > contacts

Sadly, I didn't sync or backup the phone contacts. I guess all calendar events are gone too. I've no idea what went wrong.
