Automatic APN settings

Hi, I switch SIM cards when I go overseas. On my old phone, the APN settings are updated automatically when I reboot the phone after inserting a different SIM card and go through the settings wizard.

On the Xperia, the settings are not updated after completing the wizard after SIM card change.

Any idea how to initiate a manual request for APN settings from the network? Or is the solution peculiar to eeach different.network?

If you go to settings --> Xperia --> Internet Settings you can download the APN settings for the current network you are using.

I think Sony should keep this function on the same page as the mobile networks page for a one stop access to a function that you rarely used
