1080 and 720 playback

Hi uliwooly,

i want to ask 2 questoins related to playback:

1 >  If we change this to 1080, can we run 1080 videos in default player?

       ste.video.decoder.max.res=720p in build.prop

2 > In mx player mp4 videos are not accelerating with h/w+ decoder, how to enable?  (mkv are accelerating and running smooth).

Not sure what will happen if you were to change that but it must have been set to 720p for a reason by development.

Regarding MX Player i don't know how it works but i could be the codec or its settings used that's causing the problem. Try remuxing the mp4 to mkv using for example MKVToolNix and see if it works. If not i don't think it has anything to do with the container (mkv/mp4) but instead the codec and its settings.

if i coonvert videos to mkv, its woriking cool but it would be great if i could run mp4 in hw+

i tried changing it to 1080 , nothing changed..
