Hi @Boughtandsold, welcome to our forum!
I'm sorry to hear about your phone.
I'd recommend that you start with holding both the power button and volume up pressed for 10 seconds, you should now receive 3 vibrations. Try turning the phone on again with the power button.
If there is no change, try forcing a shut down of the phone using the small OFF button that is located near your SD card. Using the tip of a pen or a similar object, press the OFF button. If you can't power on the phone when using the OFF button, press and hold it down for 2 minutes and ignore all vibrations > charge the phone for 3-4 hours.
Let me know if that helps!

Hi @Hajime, sorry to hear about your phone.
There was no change when you used the small OFF-button as well?
If that is the case, connect your phone to a wall socket and charge it for 3-4 hours using the charger that was included together with your phone.
You can also try removing the SIM and/or SD cards from your phone and see if you are able to power it on.
If you still aren't able to power on your phone, try perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of your phone and since the phone can't be powered on, a backup won't be possible to create.
Let me know how it went!

Hi, i have the same problem. My phone suddenly is not turning on anymore. I tried all your Suggestion. Since i started charging 2 hours ago, the "Sony" screen is permanently on, but nothing else.
..
What more can I try?

That's a hardware issue and you will have to contact your Local support to get it inspected.

I did the same as per mentioned in the answer here /t5/Xperia-M4-Aqua/Xperia-m4-not-turning-on-or-charging/m-p/1224520#M11586
but the thing is xperia companion failed to repair my device may be the phone is not charged upto 80%. If i tried charging it it's not charging instead keep looping sony logo and turn off. I don't feel like it's charging. My phone is dead now anyone can help me?
