I just bought an old DVD HDD recorder, RDR HX710, I plugged it in and everything seemed to work all right. But after I had muted the sound on my TV and unmuted it again, I couldn't get any sound from my DVD player. After having tried just about everything I could possibly think of, I disconnected the power cord. When I plugged it in again, it seems to be stuck in the recovery mode. I'm fully aware of that it'll get into that mode after having disconnected it, but for how long??? It's been like that for over an hour by now, and since I have an extremely important TV show I'd like to record tonight, I'd like to know the average time of this mode.
