Tv won't stay connected to wifi keeps connecting and disconnecting.
Hi guys, Every day through out the evening whilst watching TV, It keeps saying TV is not connected to the internet then a couple of minutes later it reconnects. I have checked and it is connected to my network, Also i have reduced my router to 2.4G for the wifi signal. Also the router is about a foot from the Tv.

We have the same problem. We've only had our TV a few days (KD-43XG8096) and since the yesterday's update we keep getting a banner saying 'disconnected from wifi'. But it isn't actually disconnected at all, it's just an annoying banner. PLEASE Sony, your TV's are wonderful (and expensive) but you really need to sort these niggles out!

Hi,
I a having the same problem with my Sony TV. Recently completed a download and now tv continues to disconnect from the wifi. I have completed a soft and factory reset and it hasn't resolved the issue. Has anyone found a solution?

I had the same problem. This fixed my problem. Go into the router/modem setting and disable the IPv6. Leave only the IPv4. Hope this helps.

Try a hard switch off it worked for me for a few weeks

I disagree with blame the WiFi it is clearly an issue with Sony design. I am unable to watch YouTube on my Tv when viewed via tv BUT if I view it via my Apple TV YouTube is fine using the exact same router.

Same issues when first bought it for couple months. Had to kept turning off. Now it keeps disconnecting from internet. I will never by Sony again! The wifi is right behind it. No other issues with other devices.
