I’ve just bought a Sharp soundbar to link up to my Sony KD-48A9 TV. I’ve connected it with an HDMI cable and the TV displays ‘Audio system active’ but there’s no sound. I’ve tried various fixes but none seems to work. There’s not a problem with the soundbar or the HDMI cable - I’ve tested both with another TV and they work fine.
Any ideas very much appreciated.
