hi .

Our sony bravia tv keeps switching it self off then restarts with android logo .

Even you watch youtube or normall tv channels .

This was a repacement from knowhow currys dept coz our previous tv had a faulty screen .

Latest frimware, but not Nougat

All these are random and usually invoke an automatic restart.

Crashes during viewing.

Crashes on startup from standby.

Crashes when switched to PC HDMI port and PC start up.

Does not have full audio on start up through the external sound bar.

Gets confused which is the active HDMI port and ends up with no audio. Complete system has to be switched off and restarted to recover sound on the HDMI input of choice.

Decided in the end, to take the plunge and do a FULL factory reset. Thats cleared all major problems.

The only ones I have left are the occasional sound bar start up with TV only audio and occasional sound issues with HDMI TalkTalk, BT Youview boxes and PC, when selecting which one to watch.

So thankfully, at the moment, I have a stable TV. Strange that the update resets don't work as well as a Factory reset. But then again, its an Android...
