Sony 55xf8096 picture issues

Hi I would like some help in regards to a couple of issues with my TV which I purchased on the 6th March 2019 it's running android 7 at the moment I know there is a new version being rolled out but I don't know if it will fix my issues the first is backlight bleed a.ong the bottom of screen more prominent at night and the most annoying motion blurring it seems on this TV you are limited to 4 setting off standard smooth or custom I have tried all but still motion blurring the picture also looks grainy.this TV replaced a 3 year old Samsung which had a va panel and the picture was far superior the the Sony and the only reason for the new TV was that I wanted a hdr equipped tv.i know the Sony has a ips panel which has different characteristics but am still disappointed with the picture quality any help would be appreciated

Hi @anedwar80   Did you not consider the Mid-range KD-55XF9005 which has a VA panel. Moving to an entry level IPS panel it shouldn’t be a surprise that the picture quality is reduced when compared to your previous TV.

I read that the xf80 is a midrange TV and there are good customer reviews on this set in regards to the TV my budget was limited which most va panel tvs are more expensive I just wanted a hdr TV just wanted to know from other xf80 owners if they have the same issue is it a fault or characteristics of the IPS panel
