Hi.. wonder if anyone can help.. I have a Sony bravia old 43w805c.. we recently moved into a new property and our TV hasnt been used in 5 months.. everything was ok, however today we were asked to perform a software update..for the past 3 hours we have has the spinning circle!! Any advice.. very frustrating as no use of TV
Meanwhile may I suggest in future disable Auto Update and manually download any OS updates direct from SONY and save to a USB stick. This is the way I do updates and Iv'e never had your problem.
I'm not sure how long exactly the update should take to be complete, but I'd suggest to give it more time and see how it goes. Maybe it needs a faster internet connection. Let us know if you still have the same screen by the end of the day.
