Media Player App Can't Detect NAS DLNA Server but Available in Settings.

Hi there, I have a Sony Bravia 4k KD-75X89J, the Media Player app doesn't detect my DLNA share, however in the server options/diagnostics, it does detect it and says it's available/successful.

The VLC app installed on it also detects the UPNP NAS share.

Any ideas?

You mant to check what is your router status under hte UPNP settings, if that's enabled, then ditch that.

Some TV's have a security service enabled by default, if so try disabling and see if that does the trick.

Is your VLC DLNA installed on your NAS
