The issue we have is that while we can navigate UP the Freeview EPG we can only navigate DOWN from the top row to the second row, then no more. Left, right and up movement is not restricted. The remote is fine as it works on other pages, IE app selection or internet browsing.
The TV was installed a couple of weeks ago and was updated then. There was also another update earlier this week. It has been rebooted a couple of times and the Freeview channels have been retuned but still the issue remains. Any one else suffering this issue? And fix??

It never hurts to check that you have the latest software version installed, which is v6.6555 for your TV. That said, it's also probably a good idea to unplug the TV from the wall and remove anything that's connected to it, including the aerial and Ethernet cables.
Could you let us know if you're able to move freely after trying all that?
