Hello everyone
I'am trying to watch 4k videos in the youtube app but not all 4k videos work ..only the video with 30 fps why is that ?
i have the x800d"43
thanks
I just tried the YouTube app on my TV. The highest current supported 4k video output appears to be 4k@30fps. If you watch a 4k/60fps video then the highest the TV's YouTube app outputs is 1440p@60fps at the minute.
Disappointingly this is still the case (April 2018), even with the KD-49EX9005. It seems fine with 30fps content but 60fps (particularly in 4k HDR) has noticeable stutters. That's a bit poor as my previous Panasonic 40" TV did 4k HDR 60fps perfectly - so much for a trade-up!
Indeed no news. Google's own YouTube 2.0 is a total pain on Google's own Android TV platform. That's a total shame. Read on here. They should probably just bury that hardly supported platform.
