Does anyone use a HDMI switcher?

Hi.

My equipment consists of a Sony 55" XF9005 TV, Sony HT-ZF9 soundbar, a Sony UBP-X800 4k bluray player and a Zappiti media player.

The soundbar only has two HDMI in sockets so when I want use the Zappiti, I need to disconnect the UBP-X800 HDMI and put it into the Zappiti.

Can any recommend a reliable HDMI switcher?

Apologies. I forgot to mention that I also have a Sky Q box.

Hi @Blumine1818

Assuming that you are using the HDMI 3 ARC port there shouldn't be any need for a HDMI Switch. Connect your Zappiti (whatever that is) to your other Enhanced TV HDMI 2 port and change the HT-ZF9 input to TV.

My setup:

HT-ZF9

1 - Sky Q 2160p 10 bit

2 - Apple TV 4K

KD-55XE9305

1 - Spare

2 - UBP-X800

3 - HT-ZF9

4 - BT 4K Box

Tried your suggestion.

The problem is with audio.

DTS-HD or Dolby True HD plays back as LPCM.

One assumes this is to be expected?

Since your TV has not an earc port that is expected. Connect your zappiti and UHd player through the soundbar if you want lossless audio. No need for the skyq since it doesn't have any hd audio source
