Hi @Monkey2nuts   What is the full model number of your TV?  It is required to look up the specifications of your TV to see if it supports the A2DP profile for Bluetooth headphones.

Hi, thank you for your kind reply, model number is Bravia KD75X85JU, I have tried everything that seems possible but the tv just seems unable to connect even though it says that the model of earbuds I have bought Sony WF-1000XM3 are compatible, they connected to my iPad in about 5 seconds but I have stood in front of the tv connect screen in search mode for ages but to no avail, regards Bob.

Hi go into the Google Play Store and download a Bluetooth Pairer...just search for Bluetooth. There will be one, install it, open it and pair the headphones with your TV that way. Once the app has your headphone/earbud details you can go into Quick Settings/Bluetooth and toggle the headphones/earbuds on and off.

If that works (and it should it's how I paired mine) please mark this as the solution for other users and give me some kudos 👍

Hey Monkey2nuts, both models support A2DP profile, so they should work. Try the steps here: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/iaep1/v1/en/04-06_01.html?hl=bluetooth

If that didn't work try resetting your headphones and restarting your TV (unplug from the mains) and give it another try. You shouldn't need to download extra apps.
