Hi All,

Does anyone know if or when my KD-43X8309C will get the Alexa feature soon.

Hi Brianljr,

It doesn't look like there are any plans for this feature at the moment.

You can read some previous discussions about this on the community here.

The TVs that are currently supported are listed here.

Best wishes,

Ed

Thanks Ed for your reply. I'm a bit disheartened to hear that as when I bought my Sony TV I thought it would be updated for a few years yet but hey ho you never know. Thanks again. Brian

My TV is listed but there is no app in my TV for linking with Alexa. What I read on internet that only US and UK users have that. My simple stupid question is when rest of the world with get that link ?

After searching the internet I have found some instructions on how to install TV control app for my 2015 49x8309c and everything seems to work with Alexa, why can't Sony release this so everyone can use it?

I have exactly the same problem with my kv55a1. It is listed. I bought it but nobody told, that Danish customers couldn't use it. The list is a lie, yes.
