Hi!
I have a great concern. My phone was in mint condition when the following happend:
I wanted to try out how can I take underwater photo.
The phone was in a protective case and there was no crack on it as I've checked and cleaned the phone on this morning when it's happened (last day some dust and sand went under the case as it was out with me at the beach).
The phone was not overheated or left on the sun as I've just taken out 1 minutes earlier from my bag before I went to the lake.
The lake was really warm (around 30 degree of celsius, south side of the Lake Balaton) and it's sweetwater. I've only submerged the phone around 30 cm to test how is it working. All the ports were firmly closed during this time.
When I wanted to check the photo, immediately realized that the screen is not responding to gestures, so I went out to the cost and dried it with a cloth as I tought this is because of the water on the screen. As it's still not responded I removed the screen cover and the protective case when I realised there is a small crack appeared on the back. Right after the screen started to flicker and some mist appeared on the inside of the main camera lens. I've turned the phone out immediately and let it dry for two days in a warm and dry condition.
The phone started to work, but because the backlit of the lcd panel not working (the phone however responding to gestures) it's not usable any more.
I'm working for a technical support at one of your main competitor (HTC), so I'm fully aware how to take care a mobile phone.
I'm also have an insurance so I'm not trying to avoid my responsibility in that case as I'm covered anyway.
However under this circumstanses I feel really disappointed about your product, because I followed all the instructions and rules, how to use the phone way below of it's limit.
Here is the photos about the current state of the phone.
Can you help to regain my trust in your company?
Kind regards,
Zsigmond
