on drive a the cd player gets stuck when closed with no disc, on further investigation the clamp the hold top of cd doesn't like releasing so I have to tap front of draw after I press eject to open device, anyone know a fix for this?
After all the problems I had with the drive I replaced the loading belt this was after all the cleaning and visually inspecting the device along with loads of reading about it. Now I was worried about doing harm to the device so bought a spare on eBay. Long story short belt change sorted all the problems. Hope this helps someone
