wireless switches off

wireless light is on when I turn on my machine and then suddenly it disappears and I lose my internet connection. Any ideas?

Does this happen randomly or just after you switch on?

It rather sounds like a hardware problem or a poor connection.  Does it ever come back on if you wiggle the wireless switch or shake the Vaio?
