Hi everybody!
I've got a VAIO SZ1 HP/B. I have tried to install the demo of a new pc game (Caesar4) on my laptop.
Unfortunately, when i run a game, i can't see any texture (just the landscape), the texture (buildings, characters, roads....) are completely white.
I ever notice the same problem on a desktop computer (GeForce 6600) and a driver update solve the problem.
On my laptop, i downloaded the latest version of the nvidia drivers (on vaio link website : Version : 8.4.9.1logo, 8/24/2006)
results :
In the second time, i completely restore the system and installed the new drivers, but i still have the same problems.
I've got 2 questions :
1/ Why the new driver doesn't work? (The video card GPU is newer than the desktop one)
2/ Why the monitor switch mode disappear with the new drivers? Is it a problem of the new driver (i looked for a thread about that in the forum but i found nothing)
If anybody who have a SZ series laptop could let a feedback about this game (or demo) installation (Caesar4).

Ps : I switch the laptop in "speed" mode to install the game 
I use the Caesar4 french demo file to play the game
