VAIO Recovery Tool will not run

Unable to use Vaio Recovery Tool on my VGN-TX3HP as it says this software only works on a Vaio computer?????

Are you still using the original Sony Operating System?

Try resetting the BIOS defaults before trying again: -

To Reset BIOS defaults

1. Reboot the VAIO, and press F2 multiple times when you see the first Vaio logo until you access the BIOS Setup screen.
2. Press F9 followed by Enter.
3. Press F10 followed by Enter.

You could also try the same as a. above but press F10 multiple times - this should start the Vaio Recovery direct from the Hard Disc Recovery Partition.
