I've been having this problem for a while now. I've contacted Vaio Support and followed their instructions but with no success. So this is my last resort...
Basically whenever I insert a CD and try to import/play it the program which I am using freezes. I have tried using iTunes, Windows Media Player, and a few others and the problem still occurs. The strange thing is that all Blu-Ray discs and DVDs work fine - it's just music CDs.
I've tried re-installing the drivers, system restall, Vaio Care Diagnostics, and nothing seems to fix the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.
